Do you know where the emotional support in my quest to meet “him” comes from? Ironically, it’s not from men, it’s from other women who are in the same mindset.
We’re not weak, we’re not desperate, but it would be nice to have a man who will show up and match us so we can share life’s adventures together – and unfortunately I can tell you firsthand how hard it is to find him in these turbulent dating times.
Luckily for me, I have a group of women who understand, as we are in the same situation – wanting to find the one. I constantly find that my source of power and support comes from my discussions (therapy? LOL) from other women and I always get so much more from meeting a group of 5 or 6 women for drinks.
That’s why I would like to invite you for drinks this Thursday, September 17th evening at Moxies (180 West Georgia) after the ” Dating as a Confident and Empowered Woman” event on September 17th.
The discussion is on how women can gain confidence in dating to find the “the one” between three companies, Happy Sexy You, Conversation Arts, and Pink and Grey Image Consulting and we’ll all be heading to Moxies afterwards (don’t know what time the discussion will end, 9-ish?).
