Have you ever wondered if matchmaking will work for you?

As we have both a Vancouver Attraction/Dating coaching company for men (Man Meets Woman) and it’s sister company for women (Happy Sexy You), we frequently get asked if we can match our clients up.

While we have, on occasion, done matchmaking for our clients that we know well, that is a difficult task better left to the professionals (I will be happy to refer you to several professional matchmakers), however, we thought we’d do something different this August by offering to match people up.

How this will work is quite simple. If you want to potentially be matched with someone for dating, please send an email back with the answers to these four questions and two clear photos of yourself.

1. What is your birthday and what part of the lower mainland do you live in?
2. How would you describe your relationship experience? Have you ever been married or were you in a recent relationship?
3. What kind of person would you like to date (i.e. who are you looking for?).
4. What is important to you when it comes to dating (i.e. what attracts you to the opposite sex and what do you like to do for fun?).

What we will do is, if there is a match, send an email to introduce the both of you to each other, the week before the Singles Appreciation BBQ and we’ll leave it up to you to take the next steps.

Some guidelines:

• We are offering this on a casual, for fun, basis.
• We are not matchmakers and have no plans in the near future to offer this service.
• We cannot guarantee that you will be matched with someone.
• We will not be pre-screening people that you may be matched with.
• Even if you are not matched, come to the Summer Singles Appreciation BBQ and see if any romantic sparks fly, live and in person!

There is no fee for this.

The first How to get a Guy in 10 days was such a great success!  Not only did I get to meet 17 new and very beautiful personalities, but I got to see these girls open up to other women about their real concerns when it comes to dating and relationships.  We learned so much from Vince our speaker.  He was the first speaker in our expert series on dating.  Vince owns Conversation Arts a company that teaches you about how to commutate with the opposite sex!   He enlightened us on ….

“How to get to know your man on the first date”

To discover if there is any chemistry you need to ask the right question in the right way.  You have  to take a genuine interest in his life and get to know him with questions like “what’s the last adventure you had” or “who’s your favourite family member” to open up the lines of communication.  The more you know about him in the beginning the better assessing for chemistry later on.

Why as a woman should you be asking these questions? Because it determines that man’s value. You are discovering what he values, and at the same time assessing who he is, without going into too much detail of his personal life. The questions have been rephrased so that they don’t sound like typical date questions, but more from a curious angle.
